Taipei Blockchain Week 2023 ran from December 11–16, 2023 as the event's second edition under the theme “Scale.” The week combined a three-day hackathon, the two-day Scale Conference and the Sora Summit, bringing together builders, investors, infrastructure teams and Web3 communities in Taipei.

Taipei Blockchain Week positioned its 2023 edition around “Scale,” reflecting the industry's effort to move from experimentation toward larger applications, stronger infrastructure and broader participation. Hackathon and builder ecosystem
The week opened with a hackathon from December 11–13. Organizers said they expected more than 500 developers to participate, making builder activity a central part of the event structure.
The hackathon gave teams space to build and test ideas before the main conference, putting hands-on development at the center of the week.
Scale Conference and Sora Summit
The main Scale Conference took place on December 14–15, followed by the Sora Summit on December 16. The official Sora Summit program highlighted four topic categories: Bitcoin Utility, Cryptography & Encryption, Decentralized Science, and NFT Utility.

Pre-event materials described an expected attendance of more than 5,000 people. After the event, Taiwan News reported that Taipei Blockchain Week drew more than 5,000 participants and that more than half were international visitors.
